Sept. 7
5:32 a.m. Deputies escorted a prisoner to and from the hospital for treatment for chest pain.
1:55 p.m. A welfare check on a vehicle is requested in Montmorency Township. A deputy attempted the check but was unable to locate the vehicle.
Sept. 8
2:14 a.m. An adjoining jurisdiction transfers us an individual requesting a welfare check in Hillman Township on a friend who has made suicidal comments. After a failed phone call attempt, Deputies checked several addresses but were unable to make contact with the subject. The subject later called us saying he was okay.
1:51 p.m. A deputy assisted a DNR officer with some subjects camping on state land in Avery Township.
2:27 p.m. A deputy performed a VIN inspection on a trailer in Briley Township.
7:03 p.m. A subject left three dogs at their residence while they were in the hospital and does not know when they will return to the residence. A deputy responded and took the dogs to the ECAS.
7:34 p.m. A welfare check is requested on a subject in Albert Township. A deputy attempted to call the subject, but their phone was off. After speaking with the subject's mother, an adjoining jurisdiction calls and requests the same check. Deputies make contact with the subject at their residence, and they are okay.
10:09 p.m. Deputies conduct an OWI arrest during a routine traffic stop in Albert Township. The driver was taken to ACJ.
10:14 p.m. A residential burglary alarm is reported in Loud Township. Deputies and a trooper respond, and the building is secure.
Sept. 9
4:53 a.m. A private property accident was reported in Briley Township. Both parties were advised to trade insurance information.
3:00 p.m. Dispatch received a crash notification in Albert Township. Albert Township Fire Department was able to locate the phone, but nobody was around.
5:25 p.m. A Life360 crash notification was reported in Hillman Township. Dispatch was able to get in contact with the subjects who advised they were in an ORV accident but okay.
7:29 p.m. A resident in Albert Township reported a dog running loose. The owner was advised to keep the dog on a leash otherwise they can receive a ticket for animal at large.
Sept. 10
8:15 a.m. A welfare check was requested on a female in Briley Township and her dog. Both were found to be okay.
10:43 a.m. A two vehicle accident was reported in Briley Township. A report was taken.
8:13 p.m. An MSP trooper responded to a residence after two loose dogs attacked another. The trooper spoke to the reporting party but was unable to locate the two dogs.
Sept. 11
12:09 p.m. A verbal dispute is reported in Hillman Township. Deputies responded and separated the parties.
7:08 p.m. An individual calls in saying someone is harassing her and her friends. A deputy spoke with all parties over the phone.
7:19 p.m. A deputy from an adjoining jurisdiction requests we trespass an individual in our county from an address in their county. A deputy responded and trespassed the individual.
8:47 p.m. An individual in Albert Township states someone broke into their house and took some jewelry. A deputy responded and spoke with the individual.
10:56 p.m. A verbal dispute is reported in Loud Township. Deputies respond and separate the parties for the night.
Sept. 12
2:43 a.m. A diver flees from a deputy in Albert Township. Deputies pursued the driver through the township and an adjoining jurisdiction before the driver crashed. The driver was arrested and taken to ACJ
9:12 a.m. Vandalism to a local business's vehicles is reported in Briley Township. A deputy responded.
10:55 a.m. A two-vehicle accident is reported in Briley Township. A deputy responded and a report was made.
3:17 p.m. A welfare check on some horses is requested in Briley Township. A deputy responded, but the horses were given to a different person.
3:48 p.m. A road hazard is reported in Rust Township. A deputy responded.
6:30 p.m. A welfare check is requested in Briley Township. A deputy responded and the subjects were okay.
7:37 p.m. A 911 hang up call comes in from Montmorency Township. After several failed contact attempts via phone, a deputy responded and everything was fine, the caller’s phone was having problems.
9:14 p.m. A lost dog is found by a DNR officer in Montmorency Township. The officer took the dog to the owner's residence.
10:18 p.m. An adjoining jurisdiction is out with an individual who has warrants from our jurisdiction. A deputy responds and takes the individual to ACJ.
Sept. 13
12:00 a.m. A pair of barking dogs is reported in Albert Township. A deputy responds, and the owners bring their dogs inside for the night.
2:29 p.m. An individual calls us to report an individual in Hilman Township who is possibly suicidal. A deputy spoke on the phone with the individual's parents, who assured they'd take care of them.
7:01 p.m. A possible drunk driver is reported in Hillman Township. Deputies responded but were unable to locate the driver.
7:54 p.m. A pair of campers on state land are reported in Albert Township. Callers also report a possible dog in distress in the campers. A deputy responded and the dog was okay.
