Mill seeking help for Applefest

HILLMAN – Is it possible summer is coming to an end? Finding yourself with some extra time? The Brush Creek Mill would love to have you join it as it is preparing for its annual Applefest on October 3.
Staff and volunteers will be making the popular apple dumplings on the morning of Sept. 18 at the Hillman Senior Center and invite you to join in with the fun.
We generally make close to 400 dumplings, so the more peelers, corers, rollers we have, the better. It’s a fun morning and a wonderful opportunity to get to know others in the community.
More information will be coming about the day of Applefest soon. Mark your calendars now.
