ALPENA -- The Association of Lifelong Learners (ALL) has announced its programs for next week and a brief description of them is listed below.
Hitz for Hope LLC and Cancer will give a presentation on Sept. 8, from noon until 12:45 p.m. at the ACC Madeline Briggs Center 140.
Dr Hitzelberger and his family have started a nonprofit organization called "Hitz For Hope" LLC. Its mission is to empower individuals with trusted cancer education, advance knowledge through accessible resources, and inspire charitable giving that fuels hope, research, and support for every person affected by cancer. Dr. William Hitzelberger has a Bachelor's and Masters of Science, Wayne State University, a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, an Internship and Residency, Mount Clemens General Hospital. Dr. Hitzelberger is a former Hospitalist at Alpena General Hospital and has a fellowship in Oncology and Hematology, Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center.
Adventures in Music will be on Sept. 10 at 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. in the Granum Theatre at the Alpena Community College
Musician Chuck "Butch" Runyon will perform "Hard Times and True Tales"
