HARRISVILLE – Join the Alcona County Library on Sept. 16, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Harrisville branch of the Alcona County Library for a collaborative ceramic art workshop led by local artist Helen Hierta, with support from Inspiration Alcona. Community members will create visual elements inspired by literature. The completed pieces will become part of a ceramic sculpture for the library garden. Entries are $150 each. Participants may purchase multiple entries, and donations are welcome to help cover the cost for others who would like to participate. Checks should be made payable to "Friends of the Alcona County Library" and mailed to 312 W. Main St., Harrisville, MI 48740. Please note "Library Totem" in the memo.
