ALPENA -- As part of the Bird City Celebration, the Thunder Bay Audubon Society will host a guided bird walk on Saturday from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m. along Thunder Bay River starting at Sytek Park on Bagley Street. The walk will be on a paved pathway so should be easy to navigate. The tour guide will be TBAS member, Ryan Dziedzic. Dziedzic has led several other bird walks around the area. This event is free and all levels of birding expertise are welcome. Bring binoculars if you have them and dress for the weather. For more information call or text Karen at 989-464-6573.
