Alpena -- The Alpena Alcona Area Credit Union (AAACU) recently made a $100 donation to the Poetics Lab to support its upcoming Prominent Poet series that took place last weekend.
This donation is made possible by the credit union's Community Investment Fund. These funds are comprised of money donated back into the communities thanks to credit union
members who choose to receive their monthly statements electronically. The credit union pledges to donate $9 annually for each of these e-statements accounts. In 2026, AAACU will donate up to $320,406 back into the communities they serve.
