Alpena Community College students enjoy a free soup and bread lunch lunch at the college earlier this week.

ALPENA -- Earlier this week, the Alpena Community College welcomed more than 100 students to The Market at ACC Open House and served soup and bread until it ran out.
For many students, it was their first visit to The Market, and ACC said in a Facebook post that it loved hearing student's feedback and introducing them to the resources available on campus.
The college issued a special thanks to nutritionist extraordinaire Jess Krawczak, who has quickly become a familiar face to students.
ACC's Hunger Free Campus Grant made the event possible.
