ALPENA -- The Alpena Alcona Area Credit Union (AAACU) team member Brittany Mischloney recently presented Diane Block from the Northern Michigan Fiber Festival with a check for $300 to support the 5th Annual Festival for this year. This donation is made possible by the
credit union's Community Investment Fund. These funds are comprised of money donated back into our communities thanks to credit union members who choose to receive their monthly statements electronically. The credit union pledges to donate $9 annually for each of these e-statements accounts. In 2026, AAACU will donate up to $320,406 back into the community..
