ALPENA -- The Alpena Area Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce that tickets are now available for the 15th Annual Grub Crawl: Vegas Night, scheduled for
Sept. 17.
This year’s Vegas-themed event will bring together community members for an evening of food, drinks, games, and fun while showcasing some of Alpena’s favorite local establishments.
Participants will visit eight featured locations, including:
• Court Yard Restaurant
• HopSide Brewery
• Joe’s Bar
• Nowicki’s Sausage Shoppe
• PIF Cider
• Rusty’s Corks & Cocktails
• Sneakers Bar
• Thunder Bay Winery
Beginning at 5:30 p.m., Grub Crawlers will travel between locations collecting stickers on their game boards. Participants will have until 10 p.m. to visit all eight stops and submit completed game boards for a chance to win prizes.
To help participants reach locations throughout the route, two shuttle buses will operate continuously during the event.
Tickets are $30 per person and must be purchased in advance through the Alpena Area
Chamber of Commerce. Each ticket includes a commemorative bandana, game board, shuttle transportation, games, appetizers, and drink specials.
Participants who submit a completed game board by the 10 p.m. deadline will be entered into a prize drawing featuring a variety of exciting items. Prize winners will be announced during a Facebook Live drawing at 10:30 p.m. and will be contacted the following day. Attendees will also have the opportunity to vote for their favorite stop along the route.
With only a limited number of tickets available, community members are encouraged to
purchase their tickets early.

The 15th Annual Grub Crawl: Vegas Night is made possible through the support of Alpena Beverage Company, Alpena Community Credit Union, Emery Enterprises, HPC Credit Union, Kendall Electric, Midwestern Broadcasting Company, Real Estate One, and Thunder Bay Transportation.
