Aug. 10
10:52 a.m. A dog bite is reported in Hilman Township. A deputy responded.
7:38 p.m. A pair of dogs are in a person's yard in Hillman Township. A deputy was enroute, but the dogs' owner picked them up before the deputy arrived.
8:42 p.m. A couple report a person threatening their life before getting in a vehicle and leaving the residence. Deputies and a DNR officer responded, and the DNR officer began field sobriety tests. The suspect was arrested for OWI.
Aug. 11
9:19 a.m. A company requests an officer escort them to an address in Briley Township. An officer responded.
9:48 a.m. A person requests a deputy to go with them to a local business in Briley Township. A deputy responded.
6:04 p.m. A trespasser is reported in Avery Township. A deputy responds and trespasses the suspect.
7:01 p.m. A vehicle/bear accident is reported in Briley Township. Deputies responded and a report was made.
Aug. 12
4:19 a.m. A person is reported walking down the road in Vienna Township. Deputies respond and escort the person to a local business to get a ride.
9:44 a.m. A welfare check was requested on two residents of Albert Township. A deputy responded to the residence; the subjects were found to be fine.
11:33 a.m. A welfare check was requested on an Avery Township resident; a deputy responded to the residence and found the subject to be fine.
10:06 p.m. A noise complaint was reported in Hillman Township after a resident reported loud music coming from the neighboring residence. A deputy responded but was unable to hear any music playing.
Aug. 13
12:27 a.m. A male reported that he had wrecked his car in the trees in Vienna Township. The male reported that he was not injured, just needed a tow. Deputies responded and shortly after began standard field sobriety tests. One male was placed under arrest for OWI and lodged at ACJ.
3:49 p.m. MCSO dispatch was notified by Gaylord Regional Dispatch that a trooper was out with a male with multiple Montmorency warrants. The male was arrested and lodged at ACJ.
10:36 p.m. A civil standby was requested in Briley Township. A deputy responded to the residence and waited on scene until everybody cleared.
5:44 p.m. A deputy responded to a commercial burglary alarm in Briley Township. The deputy made contact with 2 female employees'; all was fine.
8:06 p.m. A resident in Briley Township reported a male that would not leave their property. The male had left prior to LE arrival. A MCSO deputy and MSP trooper were able to locate the male during a traffic stop and trespassed him from the complainant’s property.

10:29 a.m. A VIN inspection is requested in Albert Township. A deputy responded.
11:26 a.m. A possible assault is reported in Albert Township. Deputies responded and separated the parties, one of which left the premises.
2:43 p.m. A vehicle is stuck on a trail in Briley Township. A deputy responded, and a tow truck was called for the party.
10:04 p.m. A suspicious vehicle is reported in Hillman Township. Deputies responded and attempted to locate the owner but were unable to.
11:33 p.m. A person walking down the road is reported in Avery Township. Deputies responded and drove the person home.
Aug. 15
10:19 a.m. A driver hits a truck and trailer hauling hay in Vienna Township. A deputy responded and a report was made.
10:36 a.m. A phone notification of an accident is reported in Avery Township. A deputy responded but was unable to locate the accident.
2:02 p.m. A caller reports some cat litter falling out of a vehicle in Montmorency Township. DNR officers responded and spoke with the truck's owner and cited him.
3:58 p.m. A possible missing person is reported in Avery Township. Deputies and DNR officers responded, and the subject was located sometime later.
4:46 p.m. A motor bike/ATV accident is reported in Briley Township. DNR officers responded, and a report was made.
6:23 p.m. A possibly abandoned vehicle is located on the side of the road in Avery Township. Deputies responded, and the owner said he left it there for a tow truck to take to a mechanic.
9:02 p.m. A vehicle/deer accident is reported in Briley Township. A report was made.
11:14 p.m. A dispute that has possibly dispersed is reported in Hillman Township. Deputies responded but were unable to locate the dispute.
Aug. 16
12:38 a.m. A dispute is reported in Briley Township. Deputies responded, but the parties had separated when they arrived.
1:18 a.m. A dispute is reported in Hillman Township. Deputies responded and separated the parties for the night.
8:41 a.m. An adjoining jurisdiction requested our deputies check an address in our jurisdiction for a subject involved in a crime in their jurisdiction. Deputies responded, but the subject was not home.
1:12 p.m. A dog in a vehicle is found in Briley Township. A deputy responded and located the owner of the dog.
5:05 p.m. A welfare check is requested on a dog in a vehicle. A deputy responded, but the vehicle had left before they arrived.
