Habitat for Humanity Northeast Michigan applies for USDA Housing Preservation Grant

ALPENA -- Habitat for Humanity Northeast Michigan has submitted a funding request to the USDA Rural Development Housing Preservation Grant program.

If awarded, the funds will help very low- and low-income homeowners repair and rehabilitate their homes in Alcona, Alpena, Montmorency, Oscoda and Presque Isle counties. The work addresses health, safety, and accessibility needs that allow families and seniors to remain in the homes they already own.
