ALBION – Alpena student scholar athlete Cooper Bright was included in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Academic Honor Roll for the 2025-26 year. Bright was a member of Albion’s track and field teams and has now received this honor four times.
The MIAA Academic Honor Roll recognizes student-athletes who maintain a 3.5 grade-point average for the academic year while earning a varsity letter in an MIAA-sponsored sport.
Bright graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa with a degree in psychology and a minor in educational studies with a concentration in human services. Bright is the child of William and Cindy Bright of Alpena and is a graduate of Alpena Senior High School.
