Alpena Alcona Area Credit Union supports Alpena County Fair 4-H market sale

Alpena -- The Alpena Alcona Area Credit Union (AAACU) team members, LeAnn Schultz and Jessica Johnson, recently attended the Alpena County Fair 4-H Market Sale. This year the credit union purchased Madeline Miller's Market Broiler Chicken, Gracelyn Simpson's Market Broiler Chicken, Mya VanVolkenburg's market pen of pullets, two of Emma Farnum's pens of egg layer chickens, Savannah Shields' Market Duck, and Frances Bromund's Market Pen of Pullets. The animals were then donated back to be resold with proceeds from the resale benefiting the market sale program. AAACU is proud to support our future agricultural leaders in our community.

This donation is made possible by the credit union's Community Investment Fund. These funds are comprised of dollars donated back into our communities thanks to credit union members who choose to receive their monthly statements electronically. The credit union pledges to donate $9 annually for each of these e-statements accounts.
