Alcona library series explores the enduring legacy of sandhill cranes

HARRISVILLE – The Alcona County Library will present "Sandhill Cranes: Ancient Birds, Enduring Legacy" on Sept. 12, at 10:30 a.m. at the Harrisville branch. Presented by AuSable Valley Audubon, the program will explore one of conservation's great success stories and one of our most ancient bird neighbors. Participants will learn about these remarkable birds, their history and their enduring presence in Michigan. The Harrisville branch is located at 312 W. Main Street in Harrisville.
