HILLMAN -- The Brush Creek Mill announced on Monday that the upcoming VJ Day will include a celebration of the country’s 250th anniversary.
The World War II photos of our hometown heroes are on display once again through the end of August.
VJ Day at the mill will be on Aug. 8, from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.
There will be a fully-loaded bar, which was a big hit last year. The food concessions will be indoors this year, so you can enjoy your meal in air conditioning. There will also be crafters and vendors on the lawn. This year, all of the children’s games will be at the mill and it will also have sidewalk chalk waiting for fun drawings from children of all ages.
