May 18th

8:23 AM A dispute between 2 parties was reported in Briley Township. Later that day, the two subjects were involved in a physical altercation. One male was arrested for domestic violence and conditional bond violation.

12:30 PM A vehicle/turkey crash was reported in Montmorency Township. A report was taken.

7:45 PM A dispute was reported between two individuals in Albert Township. Deputies responded to the residence and were able to separate both parties for the night, the deputies cleared without incident.

7:58 PM A male reported a physical assault in Briley Township. Deputies responded to the scene and spoke with all involved. An investigation is ongoing at this time.

May 19th

3:22 AM Dispatch received a 911 call stating there was an unwanted male at the residence being violent. Deputies arrived on scene and identified the suspect. One male was arrested and transported to be lodged at ACJ.

11:10 AM A single-vehicle accident was reported in Briley Township. MCSO deputies and Tri Township EMS responded to the scene.

3:27 PM A single vehicle accident was reported in Albert Township. A deputy and Albert Township Fire Department responded to the scene.

8:37 PM A lost boat was found in Albert Township. A deputy responded but was not able to find A VIN. The owner later called looking for the boat.

9:06 PM Deputies responded to a residence in Albert Township regarding a civil dispute. The deputies were able to talk to the property owner and resolved the issue.

May 20th

1:30 PM A concerned resident requested a welfare check on a female in Hillman Township. Deputies were able to make contact with the female and found her in good health.

1:51 PM An erratic driver was reported to be driving all over the roadway in Rust Township. A deputy was able to locate the driver and conducted a traffic stop.

3:06 PM A deputy located a male subject with multiple warrants out of another jurisdiction. The male was placed on a 24 hour hold for Oakland County at the Alpena County Jail.

5:47 PM A welfare check was requested for a male subject in Briley Township. A deputy was able to make contact with the male who was found to be fine.

8:57 PM An MSP Trooper came across an injured deer in Avery Township. The deer was dispatched.

9:32 PM An MSP Trooper conducted a traffic stop in Albert Township. One male was cited for open intox.

10:17 PM Presque Isle County officers conducted a traffic stop and were out with a male subject that had a warrant out of MCSO. A deputy met the Presque Isle officer at the county line and transported him to be lodged at ACJ.

May 21st

10:10 AM A welfare check was requested on a female in Albert Township; a deputy was able to make contact with the female. She was found to be okay.

10:16 AM Multiple goats were reported on the roadway in Briley Township. The owner was contacted and able to get them rounded up.

1:37 PM A resident in Hillman Township reported a cow in their yard. The owner was found.

2:37 PM An erratic driver was reported in Rust Township. A deputy was able to locate the vehicle and conduct a traffic stop.

5:18 PM Deputies responded to a business in Briley Township for a burglary alarm. The building was secure; employees were testing the alarm.

8:08 PM An iPhone crash detection was reported to dispatch. A deputy was able to locate the phone on the side of the road. The owner retrieved it from the MCSO lobby.

9:41 PM A vehicle/deer accident was reported in Montmorency Township; a report was taken.

May 22nd

8:29 AM An inured deer is reported in Rust Township. A deputy responded and dispatched the deer.

3:50 PM A vehicle/deer is reported in Hillman Township. A report was made.

5:02 PM A suspicious person walking down the road was reported in Albert Township. A deputy responded but was unable to locate the individual.

10:26 PM A suspicious vehicle was reported in Briley Township. A deputy responded and the driver was picking up a friend.

May 23rd

10:52 AM A possibly injured e-biker is reported in Briley Township. A deputy responded but was unable to locate the biker.

11:08 AM A tree causing a hazard in a waterway is reported in Montmorency Township. A deputy responded and advised the caller to speak with his HOA.

12:47 PM A goose-neck trailer rolled over in Briley Township. Deputies and fire units responded and cleared the roadway.

4:32 PM A residential alarm is reported in Briley Township. A deputy responded but it was a false alarm.

4:33 PM A large burn ring is reported in Albert Township. A deputy responded but was unable to locate the fire.

5:18 PM 2 horses are reported in the roadway in Avery Township. A trooper responded and the owner had retrieved the horses.

10:21 PM An assault is reported in Briley Township. Troopers and deputies responded and arrested the suspect.

11:15 PM An individual reports someone pounding on their door trying to break in. The suspect left before deputies arrived. Deputies arrived and took a statement from the victim.

May 24th

10:25 AM A vehicle/deer accident is reported in Hillman Township. A report was made.

3:27 PM An adjoining jurisdiction arrested an individual with a warrant from our jurisdiction.

9:03 PM A trooper made an arrest for OWI during a traffic stop in Hillman Township.
