Thunder Bay River Walk and Birding Tour

ALPENA -- The Thunder Bay Audubon Society is hosting the Thunder Bay River Walk Birding Tour on the bike path along the fairgrounds on June 6 at 8 a.m. Everyone can meet in the parking lot at the west end of the fairground on 11th Avenue, near the boat launch.

This walk will be led by Andrew Wolfgang, a TBAS member, Alpena High School teacher and excellent birder.

Easy walking along the bike path scouting for waterfowl and spring birds. You do not need to register for this event as this is open to the public. People are encouraged to bring a friend, spouse, or significant other, a bottle of water, camera, binoculars and a good pair of walking shoes. Please dress appropriately for the weather, See you bright and early!
