ALPENA — A group of concerned citizens are hosting a school board recall kick-off event on Saturday at Culligan Plaza.

The event is slated to begin at 10 a.m. and last until about 1 p.m.

Information about the recall and recall petitions will be available for signatures during those hours.

There is a local recall effort in Alpena County for Alpena Public School Board members Sarah Costain, Monica Dziesinski, and Eric Lawson.
