March 30

2:50 p.m. A Vienna Township resident called to request a civil standby. A deputy responded to the scene to keep the peace.

3:01 p.m. A verbal dispute in progress was reported in the Village of Hillman. A MCSO deputy along with an MSP Trooper responded to the scene to speak with both parties.

4:30 p.m. A deputy responded to a residence in Rust Township to pick up a stray dog; the deputy located the owner of the dog, and it was released to him.

April 1

8:49 p.m. A vehicle/deer accident was reported in Avery Township; a report was taken.

9:02 p.m. Deputies arrested a male subject in Albert Township for a valid and active warrant out of MCSO.

9:41 p.m. MSP arrested a male subject with a warrant out of MCSO; the male was transported and lodged at Alpena County Jail.

10:13 p.m. A deputy conducted a traffic stop in Albert Township; the driver was found to have a warrant out of MCSO. He was transported and lodged at Alpena County Jail.

April 2

4:30 p.m. A welfare check was requested in Albert Township. The subject was okay and had family with him.

4:31 p.m. A vehicle/deer accident was reported in Vienna Township; a report was taken.

8:39 p.m. A resident in Hillman Township reported a noise complaint after neighbors had been revving their vehicles for an extended period of time. A deputy was able to make contact with the subjects who then agreed to stop.

8:59 p.m. A passerby reported a vehicle that appeared to have crashed in the ditch line in Albert Township. Oscoda County deputies found the driver walking down the street and returned him to the scene of the accident. The driver was arrested for OWI and lodged at Alpena County Jail.

9:13 p.m. Deputies conducted an arrest on a male with a warrant out of MCSO.

April 3

12:12 p.m. A welfare check was requested on a Village of Hillman resident. Contact was made with the subject, and she was found to be fine.

1:40 p.m. A deer vehicle crash was reported in Vienna Township. A report was taken.

7:04 p.m. A Cane Corso was reported missing in Briley Township.

8:56 p.m. Deputies responded to a residence in Vienna Township after an unknown subject was reported to be shining a flashlight in the windows. The male was identified but left prior to law enforcement arrival. The homeowners did not want the deputies to contact the male or trespass him from the property.

11:47 p.m. MCSO deputies responded to a vehicle crash notification in Albert Township. Upon arrival, dispatch was notified of a vehicle on its side with one female occupant. Albert Township Fire and EMS responded to the scene. One female was placed under arrest for OWI and lodged at Alpena County Jail.

April 4

7:24 p.m. Tri Township Fire Department responded to a residence in Avery Township after the residence was filled with smoke from the fireplace.
