The Michigan State Police (MSP) Alpena Post is hosting a blood drive on Thursday in partnership with Versiti Blood Center of Michigan, according to a Wednesday press release.

The event will take place from 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Thursday at the Alpena Fire Department on 501 W. Chisholm Street.
