The new Rainbow Bridge at the Alpena County Fairgrounds was the Silver Project for local Girl Scouts Kenna Mousseau and Anna Leddy. It's the second highest award that a Girl Scout can earn. The bridge was constructed for grieving pet owners so they can place pet collars, tags and other items on the bridge as a way to honor and remember their pets. A flower garden will be planted around the bridge in the spring.
