Audubon Society to host owl banding presentation

The Thunder Bay Audubon Society is hosting a special event where people can learn more about the Upper Peninsula owl banding Program.

Join Chris Neri and Nova Mackentley at the Alpena County Library On Feb. 14 at 2 p.m. for a presentation about the owl research they are conducting in the eastern Upper Peninsula of Michigan. As founders of the new non-profit Friends of Whitefish Point and over 25 years of experience banding migrating owls, they will share captivating stories and valuable insights into the trends of these nocturnal raptors. The public is invited and this event is free.
