The Frontmen headline concert at Aplex

ALPENA — The Aplex is hosting an Synchronization LLC event featuring a live performance by The Frontmen, a three member country band, at 5:30 p.m. on Feb. 27.
The Frontmen is made up of original lead singers from Lonestar, Richie McDonald, Restless Heart, Larry Stewart, and Little Texas, Tim Rushlow, according to Synchronization LLC. The members of The Frontmen have had 30 number one hits between the three of them and have started to write their own music.
Synchronization LLC hosts two national acts per year at The Aplex, which includes an 80s or 90s concert at the end of February each year. Don Monti, owner of Dream Makers Entertainment, also hosts a 70s or 80s rock concert every fall. For each concert, Synchronization LLC donates back to Tunnels to Towers and the Aplex Special Needs Prom.
According to Synchronization LLC, local hotels, restaurants, retail establishments, and gas stations benefit from the concerts hosted at The Aplex. Attendees traveling for Synchronization LLC concerts seek lodging, food, and gas while visiting the community.
To attend a concert from acts like The Frontmen, people would normally travel up to three to five hours out of town, according to Synchronization LLC. In comparison, concertgoers can purchase a V.I.P ticket for $90, which includes seats that are in the first seven rows of the audience. V.I.P. tickets also include a souvenir lanyard.
General Admission tickets cost $60. All seats are within 100 feet of the stage.
Concertgoers will get the opportunity to purchase concessions at the event, which include choices between hamburgers from Marine Market and brats from Nowicki Sausage Shoppe. The event will also offer other standard concessions and a cash bar. Attendees will have the choice to purchase beer, liquor, wine, or soda.
The Frontmen will have merchandise available for sale, as well.
Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. on Feb. 27. Local musicians, Randy Bouchard and Kris Yachcik, will perform from 6 to 6:45 p.m.
The PPM Band, a family band from the St. John’s area, will take the stage as the opening act from 7 to 7:45 p.m. The band is made up of the Feldpausch family, which includes the father, mother, and children. According to Synchronization LLC, the PPM Band has performed as their opening act for the past three years.
The Frontmen, the event’s headliner, will take the stage at 8:30 p.m.
There is no snow date but there is event insurance.
