Bureau of Aging to host event in Alpena

The voices of Michigan’s elders are critical to the development of the next State Plan on Aging. The Bureau of Aging, Community Living, and Supports (ACLS Bureau) wants to hear from individuals age 60 and older and their caregivers. Join us for this important community conversation and share your experiences on aging in Michigan. We need and want your input to inform the goals and objectives for state and regional planning efforts. “We’re pleased to welcome this opportunity for community input to our region. We encourage older adults in the Alpena area to attend and share their thoughts on the needs and priorities for the future,” said NEMCSA’s Region 9 Area Agency on Aging Director, Laurie Sauer. The conversation will be held on Wednesday, October 29th at 10 am at the Alpena Senior Citizens Center, 501 River Street, Alpena. Reservations are required. Please call Connie at 989-358-4661 to reserve your spot.
