The Alpena County Intergovernmental Council will meet on Oct. 9 at 6 p.m. in the upstairs conference room at the APlex in Alpena.

During the meeting, Alpena City Manager Rachel Smolinski will give a presentation on homelessness in Alpena and the county as a whole.

This meeting is open to the public and public comment is welcome.
