The Alpena Fire Department and Alpena Police Department responded to a structure fire on Blair Street on Sunday night.

The firefighters quickly snuffed out the flames from a garage that had caught fire, while police blocked the nearby roads and directed traffic down alternate routes.

The fire is still under investigation and nobody was injured.
