The trailer is located in the parking lot of the Annex Building, on the corner of U.S.-23 and Johnson Street. Please enter using the Johnson Street entrance.
“The portable oxygen refill trailer has been a well-received resource for community members,” said Hunter Nostrant, president, MyMichigan Medical Center Alpena. “Within 30 minutes of the trailer being onsite and operational, volunteers refilled more than 100 small, portable oxygen tanks and resupplied several ambulances with oxygen. The demand for oxygen has been substantial following the ice storm and we are very appreciative to Governor Whitmer, the State Police Emergency Management and the Regional Health Coalition for their efforts in deploying this resource to our region.”
MyMichigan Medical Center Alpena also has a warming tent near the Annex building to provide community residents with a place to warm up and charge their phones. The Medical Center is fully operational and all outpatient appointments, procedures and testing including provider clinics and Urgent Care are open.
