In a Friday press release, Alpena County, in partnership with the Charter Township of Alpena, announced that they will be hosting a drop site for debris left over from last week’s unprecedented ice storm.

Brush, branches, limbs, and tree debris may be brought to a parcel located off of Airport Road on the days and times listed below. The space will be limited for private citizen use only.

Individuals should not drop any debris at this site outside of these designated times and dates. Violators will be prosecuted.

HOURS

Monday, April 14 from noon to 6 p.m.

Tuesday, April 15 from noon to 6 p.m.

Wednesday, April 16 from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Thursday, April 17 from noon to 6 p.m.

(No drop-offs Good Friday through Easter Sunday)
