The Alpena County George N. Fletcher Public Library is developing a new five-year strategic plan and is looking for feedback from library users and non-users through a community survey.

The survey will help the library staff and board fine-tune a successful strategy to serve more residents.

The general framework of the strategic plan began in 2023, and the new survey is the second phase of strategic planning.

The survey will begin on Thursday and be available until May 31. To access the survey, visit the library’s website alpenalibrary.org. Paper copies may be obtained at the library, the Alpena City Clerk’s office, the Alpena County Clerk’s office, or the Alpena Township offices. The surveys may be returned to these locations as well.
