March 3
9:59 a.m.: A commercial burglar alarm in Briley Township was reported by an alarm company. Contact was made at the business and it was found to be set off by the workers going to work.
10:32 a.m.: A property check was requested in Briley Township. A deputy responded to the residence to find everything to be secure.
8:36 p.m.: Deputies responded to a dispute in Loud Township. The parties were separated and the male half was escorted to MCSO where he was then picked up by family members.
March 4
2:28 p.m.: Two pitbulls that were stuck by porcupine quills were reported in Albert Township. A deputy located both of the dogs who were returned to their owner.
6:06 p.m.: A vehicle/turkey accident was reported in Hillman Township; a report was taken.
March 5
10:07 p.m.: Dispatch received a complaint about fraudulent charges made to a bank account. The caller was advised to terminate the bank cards and a report was taken.
March 6
3:32 a.m.: A caller stated a powerline in Loud Township may be a hazard. Tri-Township Fire Department and PIE&G responded to the scene and made sure there was no fire and the power was restored.
3:42 a.m.: There was a report of a powerline sparking in Hillman Township. The Hillman Fire Department responded to the scene and found a tree had fallen on the line causing a fire. The fire was put out. PIE&G was contacted and restored power once the fire department cleared the scene.
March 7
4:00 a.m.: A deputy responded to a Briley Township business for a commercial intrusion alarm. The deputy cleared the scene with the building secure.
4:31 a.m.: A vehicle-deer accident was reported in Vienna Township; a report was taken.
11:00 a.m.: Two subjects were taken into custody and transported to Alpena Jail by MCSO deputies on probation violation charges.
1:55 p.m.: A resident of the Village of Hillman called to report smoke in her basement and the smell of burning rubber. Hillman Fire Department responded to the residence to find the sump pump had burned up. All units cleared without incident.
3:52 p.m.: A driver in Vienna Township called to report his rear tire fell off and hit the car behind him. No injuries were reported, a deputy responded to take the report.
7:21 p.m.: A deputy conducted a welfare check on cows in Hillman Township. The cows were found to have water, food, and shelter.
10:37 p.m.: MCSO was notified of a commercial intrusion alarm in Albert Township. Deputies found the building secure after walking the perimeter and cleared without incident.
March 8
10:27 a.m.: A single-vehicle rollover was reported in Albert Township. Albert Township Fire and EMS, along with MCSO deputy and MSP Trooper responded to the scene. The driver was transported to the hospital as a precaution.
11:10 a.m.: A deer-vehicle crash in Vienna Township was reported, a report was taken.
12:44 p.m.: A welfare check on a resident of Briley Township was requested by family. A deputy responded to the residence, he found the subject to be fine. Deputy cleared without incident.
10:12 p.m.: ACCD transferred a 911 call stating there was a vehicle westbound on M32 in Hillman Township without any taillights. Deputies were able to locate the vehicle, she accidentally turned her automatic lights off.
March 9
10:14 a.m.: A property check was requesting in Albert Township; the caller requested an officer to his seasonal residence to make sure the building was secure. A deputy responded and found the building to be secure.
5:08 p.m.: A commercial burglar alarm was reported in Briley Township. An officer responded to make sure the building was secure.
7:31 p.m.: A vehicle/deer accident was reported in Montmorency Township; a report was taken.
10:15 p.m.: Deputies conducted a welfare check on a male subject in Avery Township. The subject was found to be fine and had lost his phone. The deputies cleared without incident.
