Inmates housed in Alpena Jail – 11

Jan. 27

8:18 a.m.: A deputy responded to a commercial hold up alarm at a business in Briley Township; upon arrival the deputy found the building secure and no alarms going off.

2:06 p.m.: A downed tree in a Vienna Township roadway was reported, Vienna Township Fire Department responded to the call and had the tree removed.

Jan. 28

12:09 a.m.: A deputy responded to a commercial burglar alarm at a business in Briley Township, the deputy cleared the scene after confirming the building was secure.

4:12 a.m.: A vehicle-deer accident was reported in Briley Township; a report was taken.

Jan. 29

11:44 a.m.: A two-vehicle crash was reported in Briley Township. MCSO deputy and Tri Township EMS responded to the scene. No injuries were reported.

2:02 p.m.: A male subject was taken into custody and transported to Alpena Jail on a parole detainer.

6:42 p.m.: A driver in Hillman Township reported an injured deer that he hit. A deputy responded to dispatch the deer and remove it from the roadway.

6:51 p.m.: A subject dropped off a wallet to MCSO that was found in Briley Township.

10:47 p.m.: A deputy responded a commercial alarm in Briley Township. The building was found secure.

11:50 p.m.: Vienna Township Fire Department responded to the smell of natural gas in the area.

Jan. 30

12:34 a.m.: Deputies responded to an active dispute in Hillman Township. Upon arrival it was found the suspect had two valid warrants out of MCSO. The subject was placed in custody and transported to ACJ.

8:16 a.m.: A deer-vehicle crash was reported in Briley Township; a report was taken.

6:14 p.m.: A vehicle-deer crash was reported in Avery Township; a report was taken.

10:31 p.m.: A suspicious vehicle was reported parked on the side of the road without anybody in it in Hillman Township. Deputies searched the area but were unable to locate the vehicle.

Jan. 31

8:46 p.m.: Tri-Township fire department responded to a report of CO2 detectors going off after a small furnace fire. After confirming there was no longer a fire, the fire department was able to get the CO2 levels down in the house.

Feb. 1

5:20 a.m.: A deputy responded to a business in Briley Township for a commercial burglar alarm. The deputy cleared the business with all doors secured.

Feb. 2

3:23 p.m.: A vehicle in a ditch was reported in Vienna Township; a deputy responded and waited on scene until the vehicle was removed from the ditch.

11:21 p.m.: Deputies responded to a commercial intrusion alarm in Briley Township, after searching the building the deputies found the cleaning crew inside who had accidentally tripped an alarm.
