Dec. 23

3:28 p.m.: A local business owner called with concerns about the validity of containers that had been put in his business to collect money for food. The business owner contacted people that were affiliated with the donations and they were unaware of the containers, and hadn’t received any money. Contact was made with the subject that placed the containers and an investigation is ongoing at this time.

Dec. 24

5:21 p.m.: An MSP Trooper responded to a residential intrusion alarm. The homeowner was contacted and advised the alarm was triggered by a package being delivered.

6:51 p.m.: An erratic driver was reported in Briley Township.

7:28 p.m.: MSP Trooper conducted a welfare check on a resident in the Village of Hillman. The resident was found to be okay, she was just sleeping.

11:52 p.m.: Deputies responded to a residential motion alarm in Albert Township; the residence was found to be secure. The homeowner was contacted and notified.

Dec. 25

1:19 p.m.: 2 dogs were reported near Clear Lake in Montmorency Township.

1:23 p.m.: An argument at an establishment was reported in Briley Township. While deputies were en route, the subjects left the establishment. All law enforcement units disregarded.

6:41 p.m.: A vehicle/deer accident was reported in Rust Township; a report was taken.

7:41 p.m.: A concerned resident reported an erratic driver in Briley Township.

8:03 p.m.: A vehicle/deer accident was reported in Rust Township; a report was taken.

Dec. 26

5:22 p.m.: A vehicle deer accident was reported in Avery Township; a report was taken.

6:26 p.m.: A vehicle deer accident was reported in Hillman; a report was taken.

Dec. 27

9:31 a.m.: A financial institution requested a deputy speak with one of their members referencing a subject they thought may be scamming the individual. A deputy contacted the member and spoke with him in regards to the concerns.

1:22 p.m.: A worker at a business in Atlanta called referencing a suspicious syringe that was found in the building. A deputy responded to the scene and viewed some video footage. Investigation is ongoing at this time.

1:56 p.m.: A welfare check on some animals in Lewiston was requested. A deputy responded to the residence and found the animals to be fine.

2:52 p.m.: A welfare check on a resident of Hillman Township was requested. A deputy responded to the residence the subject was found to be fine.

10:11 p.m.: A deputy conducted a welfare check on a resident in Montmorency Township. The female was found to be fine, was just busy with family over.

10:32 p.m.: A resident in Hillman Township reported a potential scam, the complaint was logged for future purposes.
