A 60-year-old Lachine man was arrested, arraigned, and charged with third-degree arson, arson preparing to burn property, and threats of terrorism from an incident on Nov. 1 on McKinley Street near 9th Avenue in Alpena.

He is being held in the Alpena County Jail and has a $250,000 bond. If convicted, the man faces life in prison.
