The Alcona High School boys basketball team lost to Standish on Monday, 70-30.

Richy Schott and Evan Borsvold led the team with seven points each. Gavin Dellar and Cole Upper each had six. Edju Hechlik and Daniel June rounded out the points with two each.

“Tough game against probably the best team on our schedule,” Alcona coach Alex Cole said. “We will use this as a measuring stick to show us what we need to improve on in order to reach our goals for the year.”
