AHS parent information forum on college Nov. 6
A parent information forum about choosing and paying for college will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday at the Alpena High School Auditorium.
This event is intended for juniors, seniors, and their parents, and may be particularly valuable for first-generation college-bound students.
Alpena High School Counselor Robyn Miller will discuss options to help families pay for higher education and how to choose a college that is a good match for your student.
“Scholarships give our families access to education and training that can lead to quality careers for students, without the burden of future repayment,” Miller said. “Finding the right institution and environment to learn at is also very important for a successful post-secondary experience.”
