Contest offers kids Lions tickets, more

DETROIT — One Michigan kid could win it all this Thanksgiving courtesy of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan and the Detroit Lions. The #MIKidsCan Turkey Day VIP Sweepstakes is entering its 10th year and Michigan kids enrolled in grades 1-10 are encouraged to enter. The winner will have the chance for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see the Lions play on Thanksgiving, have a Thanksgiving meal at Ford Field with their family, deliver the Lions’ honorary game ball, and ride on the new Blue Cross Thanksgiving parade float down Woodward Avenue during America’s Thanksgiving Parade, presented by Gardner White.

As part of the sweepstakes entry, fans are asked to share how they will get active for 60 minutes on Thanksgiving Day. Eligible families and their children can enter at detroitlions.com/contests/turkey-day now through Oct. 31. The Turkey Day VIP Sweepstakes supports Blue Cross’ ongoing commitment to children’s physical fitness and good nutrition through its #MIKidsCan campaign and ongoing partnership with the Detroit Lions.
