In December, the Michigan State Police Alpena Post was asked to investigate allegations of sexual assaults against children. The case involved the sexual assault of victims under the age of 13. The incidents began in 2018. The investigation led to an arrest warrant being authorized for now-58-year-old Larry William Page from Bentley. Page was arrested on Wednesday by the MSP Seventh District Fugitive Team and transported to the Alpena County Jail. Page was arraigned in the 88th District Court in Alpena County on 10 counts of criminal sexual conduct first degree (victim under 13 defendant over 17), and eight counts of criminal sexual conduct second degree (victim under 13 defendant over 17). He was given a $100,000 cash surety bond. His next scheduled court appearance is on Sept. 24 at 2:30 p.m.
