ALPENA — A motorcyclist was transported to MyMichigan Medical Center Alpena this afternoon after his motorcycle struck the back of a vehicle on U.S.-23 South near Outer Drive.

The crash happened at about 2:45 p.m.

The Michigan State Police, Alpena Township Fire Department, and Alpena Fire Department ambulance service responded to the crash.
