On Monday, the fuel system at the Alpena Marina will be shut down for maintenance and repairs.

City officials expect the fuel system will be operational by Friday, according to a news release.

During the closure, the harbor will be unable to fill recreational and nongovernment watercraft in the water. Officials encourage recreational boaters to fill up and conserve fuel during construction.
