Alpena High School Senior Laurel Alberts was awarded the 3rd Annual Mahaz Family Spartan Scholarship on Tuesday, according to a press release from Alpena Public Schools.
Albert plans to pursue a degree in Marketing or Apparel and Textile Design, as well as a minor in Entrepreneurship, at Michigan State University.
