Thunder Bay Junior High student Claire Caplis was awarded the National Junior Honor Society Outstanding Achievement Award based on her demonstrated work to support the five pillars of the NJHS. The pillars are scholarship, service, leadership, character, and citizenship. Caplis will receive $500 in a college savings account to be applied toward higher education.
