The Alpena Township Board of Trustees will host a special meeting at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.

The only item on the agenda is a notice that the trustees will go into closed session to discuss the online water and sewer litigation with Alpena.

The two municipalities are in the midst of a trial over water rates and the trial resumes at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday in the 26th Circuit Court.

This meeting is open to the public, and public comment is welcome.
