The Alpena Township Board of Trustees will host its regular monthly meeting on Monday at 6 p.m. at the township office building at 4385 US-23 North.

During the meeting the trustees will discuss fire department business, consider an application for a special event permit for the Long Lake Lights Festival, and review a fixed-asset disposal list.

This meeting is open to the public and public comment is welcome.
