Repairs coming to Alpena trailhead

The Alpena Municipal Council voted on Monday to hire Contracting Services for $22,076 to perform necessary repairs of the trailhead in Alpena and to replace some of the lights.
The trailhead structure on Woodward Avenue suffered damage from a small fire in June.
The cost of the repairs will be covered by the city’s insurance.
