ALPENA — The Alpena High School 2023-24 boys’ basketball team held their season-ending banquet on Wednesday, where they celebrated the team and awarded several players. The team rounded out the season with 5-18.

Connor Cameron was named Co-Defensive Player of the Year and Most-Improved Player. Easton Srebnik also received the Co-Defensive Player of the Year award. Avery Samp received the Coach’s Award. Tucker Bright was named Team Most Valuable Player (MVP) and Offensive Player of the Year. Owen Kinzey also received an award for his contribution to the team as the Most Valuable Filmer.
