The Woods Track Club took to Jack Skoog Track for an indoor competition at Central Michigan University on Sunday.
Alpena Sophomore Thorin Rogers blazed a new 60m PR of 7.37 and ran the 200m Dash in 24.32. Senior Julian Stevens sped across the finish line at 23.55 in the 200m. With their performances, Rogers and Stevens were just hundredths of a second away from state qualifying in the 60m and 200m, respectively.
Senior Brady Carlson followed up last weekend's PR performance with another solid Shot Put mark of 36'3". Sophomore Keira Paad rounded out the day for The Woods with a solid Shot Put showing in her rotational technique debut.
The Woods will compete at SVSU Distance Festival on Saturday.
