ALPENA — The artwork of seven local students was featured in ice sculptures at Alpena Ice Fest over the weekend.
The students submitted drawings to Thunder Bay Arts, and their work was selected to be transformed into beautiful ice creations for attendees to admire.
Selected students came from Alpena Public Schools at the elementary, junior high, and high school levels, and Alpena Community College. Students included Avery Bates, Cassidy Etzel, Olive Ford, Vivienne Robertson, Vesper Stutzman, Jenya Torsch, and Kylie Witulski.
Each student received an Alpena Ice Fest winter beanie.
