Hillman would jump out to an early 16-0 lead after one quarter and would cruise the rest of the night.

Leading the way in scoring was Trenton Taratuta with 19. Trenton also added 12 rebounds and six assists.

Junior Brenden Rouleau added 19 points and Senior Blake Kennard would round out the double-figure scoring with 10 points, six rebounds, and two blocks.

Hillman heads on the road again Friday to face Oscoda.

“We jumped out on the early 16-0 in the first quarter but kinda relaxed and let Tawas back in the game but it was a good learning experience,” coach Eric Muszynski said. “We battled some sickness tonight and some minor injuries but played well enough to pick the win up. I thought we played a good 2 quarters tonight!”
