Dec. 25

10:57 p.m.: A vehicle deer accident was reported to the center in Hillman Township; no one was injured and an officer took the report.

Dec. 29

1:47 p.m.: A family member that lives out of states requested a welfare check on a resident of the Village of Hillman, a deputy responded to the residence, the subject was found to be fine.

3:39 p.m.: A resident of the Village of Hillman called to report her mailbox damaged sometime in the last couple days.

4:15 p.m.: A resident of Loud Township called to report a male subject trespassing on his property, a deputy spoke with both parties involved and the investigation is ongoing at this time.

6:06 p.m.: A call came into the center referencing a dispute that took place in Hillman Township; an investigation is ongoing.

9:14 p.m.: An erratic driver was reported in Hillman Township; an officer initiated a traffic stop on the reported vehicle. Driver was not from the area and had missed a turn–Deputy gave him direction and sent him on his way.

Dec. 30

12:27 a.m.: While on routine patrol in Hillman Township, a deputy initiated a traffic stop. The driver was found to be driving on a suspended license and also had a warrant out of Montmorency County–the male subject was cited for DWLS and arrested on his warrant and transported to Alpena County Jail.

6:22 a.m.: A resident in the Village of Hillman called to report that two of the tires on her vehicles had been slashed, investigation is ongoing at this time.

10:15 a.m.: Two females came into the MCSO lobby to report they had been threatened by a family member. A deputy spoke with the subjects and took the report.

2:09 p.m.: A resident of Hillman Township called to report an ongoing property line dispute. RP states he had the property surveyed. A deputy responded to the residence and spoke with the reporting party. The neighbor was not at home at the time, a deputy will return to speak with him.

5:45 p.m.: An erratic driver was called into the dispatch center, a deputy was advised, the driver turned onto a side road and the caller lost sight of the vehicle prior to law enforcement arrival.

7:41 p.m.: Deputies responded to a call in Albert Township about a male subject causing a disturbance in local business; the male was soon located and arrested on multiple charges. The male was later lodged at Alpena County Jail.

Dec. 31st

9:16 a.m.: A driver picked up a stray dog and brought it to MCSO lobby, a deputy took the dog to the shelter.

12:25 p.m.: A resident of Briley Township called to report a tree took a down a powerline in his yard, the caller still had power and there was no smoke or fire. PIE&G was advised.

4:53 p.m.: A vehicle in the ditch was reported in Hillman Township, deputies were advised.

5:41 p.m.: Alpena Central Dispatch requested Hillman EMS for a single vehicle roll over just east of the county line.

9:34 p.m.: A vehicle deer accident in Hillman Township was reported to the center; officer was advised and took the report.
