On Wednesday and Thursday last week, Alpena High School's wrestling team competed at the Traverse City West Holiday Classic.
The Wildcat girls wrestlers finished with three medal winners: Marleigh Hann (105) in third place, Gillian Merrill (235) in third place, and Tryst Bukowiecki (130) in fourth place. The boys competed the following day with Brody Oliver (150) and Carter Stark (157) both bringing home a medal with fourth-place finishes each. Conner Sauve (144) finished just out of medal contention with three wins and two losses on the day.
Alpena wrestlers travel to Cadillac today for their next action.
